Blogging for Money

Nowadays many people are blogging only to earn money. They write posts with no content at all, and they will not get many visitors to their blog. The main key is to write only quality. Let me repeat that, write only quality. Continue reading to find out why social media sites fail and how to get traffic from search engines.

Where Does the Money Come From

The money comes from advertisers that show ads on your blog. To get paid you need visitors to come to your blog and click the links, etc. Maximise the amount of visitors to get the most money

Where Social Media Sites Fail

Many people talk about  social media to promote your blog. This includes using tweeter, digg, reddit and other similar sites. It is a good thing to use them, but these sites provide only a limited amount of visitors, and in a limited amount of time. By digging your posts and tweeting them, you will instantly get some visitors, but in the long run these sources do not provide enough traffic.

I am going to give you a little “secret”, the best sources of visitors are search engines. On most of my sites over 90% of traffic comes from search engines. It does not matter how big of a tweeter you are, you probably will not ever get more than 20-50% traffic from these services. If you get over 20% from social media, I can tell you it is quite good and you are doing an excellent job.

Social media sites fail in delivering a lot of visitors and it takes constant work. Why work your ass off, only to get 20% of your visitors?

Getting Love from Search Engines

Search engines deliver most of your visitors and you should always focus on search engine traffic. How to do it? Write quality content and a lot of it. Quality means that people will happily link to your posts, and make your blog more popular in the eye of search engines.

Right now make the decision to start writing a lot. Take time every day to write a post about something relevant and keep to it. Search engine traffic is going to start coming as long as you stay focused and continue writing. Never quit and never compromise quality.

Conclusion

  • Never sell yourself short by writing crappy articles.
  • Never start writing poor quality articles.
  • Do not focus too much of your time on social media sites.
  • Always write quality articles.
