This is a post about how to stay motivated with writing blog posts. I decided to write this post, because I have found that a lot of people stop blogging after around 6 months. People seem to loose their interest and it is the end of their blog. Read this post to know how you can beat the 6month barrier and stay motivated forever
Take breaks from Blogging
Blogging is like every other work and you need to breaks once in a while. After you have taken the short break you will have a massive amount of energy to start blogging again. It is guaranteed.
First schedule posts for the time of your break. The interval of the blog posts can be even double your regular amount. But if you can, try to keep the same pace you have had before. When you have the posts scheduled, just inform your readers that you are taking a break. Tell them, that you have scheduled posts and when you are coming back. People will understand and they will wait for your return.
Think of the reasons why you started blogging
Reminding yourself why you started blogging is a great way to stay motivated. For example, if you started blogging for money, remind yourself that money comes only through hard work and by quiting now you are not going to earn a dime.
Be social with your readers
Encourage people to comment on your blog and interact with them. Many people get their motivation from socialising and your readers are a good target.
Visualize your Goals
Many people have goals with blogging. These goals may be to have 10000 feed readers or something else. Close your eyes and visualize your goal being completed. Really feel that you have completed the goal. This is a great tip to do once every day. It will guide you towards your goals.
Conclusion
What ever you feel or think, never give up. Believe that your goals can be achieved and think of the reasons why you started blogging. Feel free to take breaks from your blog and start to socialize with your readers. You will make it
How do you stay motivated with your blog? What is behind your blogging motivation?

“Be social with your readers”
This for me is the single most important factor in my work. It keeps me accountable to the folks that I’ve come to meet over the course of writing an information blog.
The idea about having scheduled postings is the best! I schedule a day in advance and then write a few when I know ill be gone for sometime. This itself keeps you accountable cause you want to come back and see if there has been any kind of response. I just carry my iphone around, retweet my posts and retweet again, add to facebook, and other things. Before you know it, the week is over and I’ve got great comments and posts to reply to.

Thanks for taking the effor to comment again, thank you Tony. Great to hear that you are also motivated from being in contact with other people. If you are not a people person, it may be quite hard to have any big success with a blog.
Scheduling posts helps a lot, so that you do not have that much pressure every day to write a blog post.
the breaks idea is good, even helps to come out of the writers block

Thanks for the comment and welcome to the community. Good point of telling that breaks may help you get out of writers block. In my case, I really get a boos of motivation after every break I have.
Maintaining a blog is no easy task. One must have patience and purpose. I believe it is the strength of our purpose that give life to our blogs.
Yeah, you’ve got to have purpose or a goal that you are aiming at. There is no better way to stay motivated than to see yourself slowly going towards your goals.
Thanks for the comment Walter and welcome to the community!
