Writing is a great way to deliver messages in to minds of the masses. You can paint lively pictures in people’s minds and deliver them feelings of enjoyment. It is important to know, that your attitudes also show in your texts. They come through from your texts from little innuendos like adjectives, sentence structures and such. This post describes the attitudes and thought patterns that will 100% sure make you write better.
Attitudes
I like people
All people who are great writers, like people. The liking comes through in all writing. This concept can be easily explained, when you like people you tend to think how will people feel when they read your text.
Even subconsciously you are thinking, will people like the text that you are writing. If you like people, you will never want to offer bad writings to people.
I am positive
A positive mental attitude shows from your writing in a second. When you are positive, you tend to write more positive posts and less of negative ones. Do you like to read negative or positive texts? – Of course positive. Be positive and you will be a magnet for readers.
I am not all knowing
Having authority in your writing is good, but over doing it is a blunder. You must understand that your texts are your ideas and not the god given thruth. When you leave some room for debate people tend to comment more and take part in your community.
Thought Patterns
What do my readers like to read?
When you are trying to come up with topics to write about, you should think what your readers will be interested in. Why should you write about things that only you are interested about? You are not the reader, think about the average reader and the things they are interested in.
How could I make this text better?
Constantly thinking about how could I improve, makes you find ideas how to better your texts. Texts are not just made so that you write them and that’s that. No one can write a great text by just writing it once, you have to analyse the text afterwards and improve it. This improvement phase is the most important phase in writing.
Writing takes time and I am willing to invest
Yup, you know it, I know it, we all know it. If you want to write well, you must take the time to do so. You can not write an article in 30 mins and expect it to be a success, although it may sometimes happen. Usually all the best texts have been written, read, and rewritten. Be willing to invest your time in the writing and do not expect to be an overnight success.

all points are absolutely right.. We can discuss with our readers regarding topics and also bout any changes in your blog. is it right?
I am not a 100% what you mean, but I’ll try to answer anyway
. Discussion with readers is really important and readers are valuable. Normally I would see, that the comment discussion must be in some way related to the current posts topic. If it is not, then it should perhaps posted in the forum: http://forum.blogidy.com
As a general note I welcome all kind of interaction and I am hoping for comments from everyone. Some of the comments just should be posted in the forum and not here.
Thank you for comment and participation in the community
Based on my previous “corporate life” and the correspondence we wrote there I have struggled with blogging. For the longest time I actually allowed it to hold me back but I finally decided the only way to become a better writer was to get in there and start writing the blog posts.
I know that as time goes on I will “lose” the former, ingrained method of writing and become a better writer but as with anything it takes practice and commitment.
I’m excited to see how my writing will have evolved a year from now.

You make a great point about just having an endavour to be a better writer. By striving to be better you will eventually get better. Same thing applies to everything, you practice and practice and then you get better.
Thanks for your excellent comment Michelle and welcome to the community
Writing is about honesty and effort. If you try and seek perfection from your blog post you may lose some of the integrity of the writing. What do I mean?
When we write we should be presenting our points in a way that we may do so in a face to face situation with our reader.
If we constantly try and re-write the article to look as though we were the modern equivalent to William Shakespeare the article may no longer represent ourself in the natural way that we are.
By all means go over the article before posting to check for obvious errors / inaccuracies and grammar but do avoid changing the style to something that we would not normally write.

Thanks for the comment Roland. I have not thought of it that way.It is true that by refactoring too much your article may start sound more mechanic.
On the other hand I rather read more mechanic articles than unfinished ones. That is the reason why I am advocating to read and rewrite a lot.
Some good points here! I once got a promotion at work solely (well… maybe not the only reason!) because my boss thought I wrote a well-written e-mail. It’s amazing how many people respect—and recognize—good writing.

Great way to illustrate the importance of writing skills. Thanks for the comment Adam and welcome to the community
