Many people have been wondering how to get their blog comments published here and on other blogs. Blog comments can get you traffic and they also help with SEO by providing you back links. This article shows my guidelines for approving comments. I can guarantee you that by sticking to these guidelines you can get your comments published anywhere.
Guidelines for Getting Comments Approved
My guidelines for getting a comment approved are quite strict. First, I want to provide quality content. Second, my blog is dofollow and I am not going to pass link juice to people who make crappy comments. Here are the guidelines:
1. Read the Post first
This should be a given, but for some reason ( Just for the back link ) people comment without reading the post through. By reading the post, you get ideas on what to comment and you avoid the trap of repeating ideas of the actual post.

This is a question that has puzzled many people in forums and other places. Even people in the happy land of Twitter have been wondering about it. How much you should post varies by many factors. It all depends.
Optimizing for Readers
If you want a successful blog, you should focus on optimizing your post interval to fit your readers. In my opinion keeping a constant writing interval will bring in the best amount of readers. When you keep a constant update interval, then people will come to your site regularly to check back on how you are doing.
There may be some days that you have the drive to write several posts. If you write for on average a post a day normally, then I would cache part of the posts and published them at a later date. Never publish 5 posts one day and then 0 posts on the next five days. As long as your update interval is regular, you will get readers to come back. As an aim I would keep to write a post every single day. It is enough to show people that you are regular blogger that is worth following.

On every forum there is some kind of debate about article lengths. It seems to be a mystifying thing for many people, but in fact it is really easy. This article will clarify misconceptions and provide some real information about article length.
The Myths
1. Google will not like your article if it has below 500 words
This is total bull. There are many niches and pages that have around 100 words and still rank first in google.
2. Article lenght should less than 500 words, because people loose interest with longer articles
Only thing that matters is your ability write so that you can keep the reader interested. Even 200 words can be too much if your text does not carry momentum. On the other hand 2000 word articles may be extremely intersting if they are written well.

Why Does it Matter
Search engines count the amount of inbound links you have to your site and pages. The most import thingĀ is the anchor text that is used for the inbound links. Anchor text is the text that reads in the actual link. Like this: Anchor Text. The Anchor texts are also counted by search engines.
Anchor texts are matched with keywords that people use in searches. If you have multiple inbound links with the same keywords then it will provide the page with better ranking. Nofollow links are links that are not counted with search engines and this means that they do not improve page ranking in search results.
What are Dofollow links
Dofollow links are all the normal links that do not have rel=”nofollow” tag in them. In normal HTML source code it looks like this:
<a href="http://www.somesite.com">Anchor Text</a>
What Are Nofollow Links
Nofollow links mean thatĀ the links have a tag that means that they should not be counted by search engines. When you look at the source code you can find links that look like this:
<a href="http://www.somesite.com" rel="nofollow">Anchor Text</a>
The rel=”nofollow” is the key that tells search engines that the link is not to be counted.
Conclusion
You can use this knowledge with link exchanges. When you are trading links with someone, always verify that the links are dofollow links. If they have the nofollow tag, then do not accept the link trade.
