Meta Tags
Meta tags are tags that are shown in the HTML code of your web pages. The most profound are keywords and description meta tags.
There are two good reasons, why meta tags are important. First, when you have the meta tags on your pages, some of the search engines will rank your pages based on them. Second, some of the meta tags, like description, is shown on the search result under the actual link. If the description looks good, then people will more likely click the search result.

This is a question that has puzzled many people in forums and other places. Even people in the happy land of Twitter have been wondering about it. How much you should post varies by many factors. It all depends.
Optimizing for Readers
If you want a successful blog, you should focus on optimizing your post interval to fit your readers. In my opinion keeping a constant writing interval will bring in the best amount of readers. When you keep a constant update interval, then people will come to your site regularly to check back on how you are doing.
There may be some days that you have the drive to write several posts. If you write for on average a post a day normally, then I would cache part of the posts and published them at a later date. Never publish 5 posts one day and then 0 posts on the next five days. As long as your update interval is regular, you will get readers to come back. As an aim I would keep to write a post every single day. It is enough to show people that you are regular blogger that is worth following.
